One page, built properly, for a sensible price
Not every business needs twenty pages. Most need one that loads instantly, says exactly what they do, and makes it easy to get in touch.
There is a gap in what most agencies will sell you. At one end, a template site you assemble yourself for a monthly fee, which is fine until you want it to do anything specific. At the other, a full custom build costing thousands. In between sits a very large number of businesses who need one good page and keep being quoted for something much bigger.
This is that middle option, and we're deliberate about not overselling it. A single page, built to the same technical standard as everything else we do - server-rendered, fast, accessible, marked up so search engines and AI assistants can read it properly - and priced accordingly because it is genuinely less work.
It is also the right first step for a lot of businesses. Get something honest and fast in front of people, see what they actually ask about, and add pages later when you know what they should say.
Who this is right for
A one-page site works when a visitor can be told everything they need in a single scroll, and where the goal is a call, a message or a booking rather than research across many pages.
Trades and local services
What you do, where you cover, proof you're real, and how to reach you. That is the whole job.
New businesses
You need to exist online this month, not in the second quarter. Start here and grow into more when you know what to say.
A single service or offer
One thing, explained properly, with a clear next step. More pages would dilute it.
Replacing something embarrassing
An old site that loads slowly and looks a decade out of date is worse than one honest page.
Campaign and launch pages
A dedicated page for one product, event or offer, separate from your main site.
Who it is wrong for, and we'll say so
If you're trying to rank for a range of different searches, one page cannot do it. Search engines reward depth on a topic, and depth needs somewhere to live. A single page competing against a competitor with twenty well-written ones will lose, and no amount of clever work on our side changes that.
Equally, if you need customer accounts, real booking against capacity, or anything that stores and processes data, you've outgrown this before you start. We'll tell you which of the two situations you're in during the first conversation rather than selling you the cheaper thing and letting you find out.
What you actually get
The same build standard as any other project. The saving comes from scope, not from cutting corners on how it is made.
Written for you
We write the page. Most businesses describe themselves badly in their own words, and this is the part that decides whether it works.
Genuinely fast
Server-rendered, minimal JavaScript, images handled properly. It will load quickly on a phone on mobile data.
Findable
Structured data, sensible markup and a machine-readable summary so AI assistants can read it too.
Accessible
WCAG 2.2 AA as standard, not an upgrade.
A real contact route
A form that reaches you reliably, or booking if that suits the business better.
A lookup, if it earns its place
For automotive businesses a registration or MOT lookup on a single page changes the enquiries you get entirely. It is the one piece of real software worth adding at this size.
Yours to keep
Your domain, your hosting account, your code. No monthly platform fee holding the site hostage.
Growing out of it later
A one-page site built this way is a foundation rather than a dead end. The same codebase extends to service pages, a blog or a booking system without starting again, which is the opposite of what happens when you outgrow a template platform.
Plenty of clients start here and add a second phase six months later, once real enquiries have shown them which questions keep coming up. That is a much better way to decide what to write than guessing on day one.
Deliverables
Every engagement includes these as standard, not as line items to negotiate.
- One page, written and built, live in days
- Copy written for you, not a form to fill in
- Server-rendered, fast on mobile data
- Structured data and an AI-readable summary
- WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility as standard
- Your domain and hosting account, no platform lock-in
- A clear upgrade path if you outgrow it
Where we have done this
Remaps UK
Most service sites ask for your details and then tell you something. This one does it the other way round, and that single inversion is the whole business model.

For an automotive business, almost every enquiry starts with the same question - what car have you got? Answering it on the page instead of in an email changes the whole conversation.

How much does a one-page website cost?
Substantially less than a multi-page build, because it is genuinely less work rather than the same work done faster. The exact figure depends on whether you need a form or booking and how much writing is involved, and we'll give you a fixed number before starting rather than an hourly estimate that drifts.
How is this different from Wix or Squarespace?
Speed, ownership and how it is found. A hand-built page loads faster than a template platform can manage, the code and hosting are yours rather than rented, and you're not paying monthly for the privilege of your site existing. If you stop paying us, nothing switches off.
Will one page rank on Google?
For your business name and often for a specific local service, yes. For a range of different searches, no - search engines reward depth on a topic and depth needs pages to live in. We'll tell you honestly which situation you're in before you spend anything, because a single page sold as an SEO solution is a disappointment waiting to happen.
Can I add more pages later?
Yes, and it is built expecting you to. The same codebase extends to service pages, a blog or booking without starting over. Quite a few clients start here and add a second phase once real enquiries have shown them what people keep asking.
How quickly can it be live?
Days rather than months, provided you can get us the basics - what you do, where you work, and any photos or proof you want on it. The writing is usually the part that takes longest, and we do that rather than sending you a blank form.
Where to go next
Websites with Built-in Software
Most business websites are a brochure with a contact form. The ones that earn their keep let the customer do something - book, get a price, look something up, check a status.
Web & Mobile Apps
Most business apps fail for boring reasons: they are slow on the phone the customer actually owns, they break on bad signal, or nobody could find them. We build for those conditions first.
Software for Field Service and Trades
Field service has a problem office software never solves: the work is at the customer, the person doing it is in a van, and the signal is unreliable.
Tell us what is slowing you down
A short conversation is usually enough for us to tell you what it would take to fix it, and what it would cost you to leave it alone.
